We’ve started your trip in Karbers Ridge, but you can begin your
“circle” anywhere you
chose and still follow the directions below.
We have a wonderful shop in Karbers Ridge. Karbers Ridge is
6 miles East of Hwy 34 and 6.5 miles West of Hwy 1 on Karbers
Ridge/Pounds Hollow blacktop. Briarbank
Ridge is right off the blacktop on High Knob road.
Briarbank Ridge
is a unique primitive style shop, specializing in painted
primitive reproduction furnishings and decorating goods. Candles,
linens, crafts, small antiques and seasonal items are also in
stock.
Continue East 6.5 miles on Karbers Ridge blacktop to Hwy 1. Turn
south; drive 13 miles to Cave-In-Rock where you will enjoy the Pirate’s Cove.
Located in the State Park Lodge restaurant facility, Pirate's Cove features
hand made items, painted feathers, historical books and other gift
items. Both shops are located overlooking the
banks of the beautiful Ohio River.
From Cave-In-Rock go North on Hwy 1 to 146. Turn left (West) on
146 to Elizabethtown. Park just before the four way stop in the
center of town. The Ole Heritage Shoppes, located next to the
bank, features numerous booths with antiques, handmade crafts,
collectibles, gifts and other eclectic items. The
Rose Hotel also has a wonderful
gift shop and is located on the banks of the Ohio River in
Elizabethtown.
Your next stop is Rosiclare. Go West on 146 just two miles to 34
South to the third
river town on your trip, Rosiclare. Enjoy Rose Clare Craft &
Antique Mall and the Flower Basket Flowers & Gifts,
both located
on the main street of Rosiclare. The
Rose Clare Craft & Antique Mall is filled with booths of antiques,
crafts and collectibles.
Many hand made items and lots of antiques and various gift items
are found in the many booths. The
Flower Basket features flowers,
silk arrangements, plants and other gift items.
