Hardin County Heritage
Festival
The Hardin County Heritage Festival is held the second Friday and
Saturday in August and celebrates the county’s rich heritage
and history. The event includes exceptional period entertainment
and activities to fill your weekend including; 1800’s outdoor
play, Civil War Reenactment, pageant, quilt show, duck race, area craft and
food vendors. Festivities also include a period ball, a Regal
Women’s Tea and live entertainment throughout the activities.
Events are held in Elizabethtown (Saturday) and at the Hardin County K-12
School located East of Elizabethtown on 146. (Friday night
pageant)
